1. Who We Are
Elvantoq (“Elvantoq”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides professional productivity tools intended to help individuals plan and manage their professional presence, including AI-assisted content workflows and, where available and authorised, LinkedIn account connectivity and content publishing.
The service is operated by Aasim Mistry LLC (“Operator”). Contact us at contact@elvantoq.com or City Mansion, 54 Langford Road, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka 560025, India.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to the Elvantoq website at https://elvantoq.com, the application when made available at https://growth.elvantoq.com, and communications with us about the Service. It describes our handling of personal information. It does not govern third-party websites or platforms, including LinkedIn and OpenAI, which have their own terms and privacy information.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, account identifiers, authentication-related account data, workspace details and preferences.
- Professional information: role, organisation, biography, expertise, professional goals, target audience and content preferences that you provide or authorise us to retrieve.
- LinkedIn information: information made available through LinkedIn's approved authorisation and API processes, subject to permissions granted, products approved for our application and your LinkedIn settings.
- Content and instructions: ideas, prompts, instructions, drafts, approved posts, images and other materials you submit, upload or create.
- Usage and technical information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, logs, diagnostic and security events, and service activity needed to operate and protect the Service.
- Communications: messages and information you provide when contacting support or making a privacy request.
- Transaction information: where paid services are offered, subscription, invoice and payment-status information. Payment details handled by a payment processor are subject to that provider's terms.
LinkedIn determines which information and actions are available to an application. We do not promise access to every profile field, historical post, message, analytics metric or organisation-page feature. We access only information and functionality made available through applicable LinkedIn permissions and products.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to create and administer accounts and workspaces; provide content planning, drafting and editing; process requests through AI features; connect to LinkedIn when you authorise it; retrieve permitted profile information and perform actions approved by LinkedIn and authorised by you; operate review and approval workflows; provide support; maintain, secure and improve the Service; detect misuse; and comply with applicable law.
5. AI Features and OpenAI
Elvantoq uses OpenAI as its AI service provider for AI-assisted features, including content generation, writing assistance, content improvement, topic suggestions and related productivity functions.
When you choose to use an AI feature, we may send prompts, instructions, draft text and other content you submit, together with limited contextual information needed to fulfil your request, to OpenAI through its API. OpenAI processes that information to provide the requested output under the terms and data-processing arrangements applicable to its services.
OpenAI states that data submitted to its API is not used to train or improve its models by default unless the API customer expressly opts in. OpenAI may retain certain API data for abuse monitoring and service operation, subject to its published policies and settings. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy and OpenAI API data controls. Elvantoq's API account settings and configuration govern the data we submit and controls available to us.
We do not intentionally send your LinkedIn password, LinkedIn access token or other LinkedIn authentication secrets to OpenAI. LinkedIn credentials and tokens are handled separately by Elvantoq's application infrastructure. Do not include passwords, access tokens, highly sensitive personal information or information you are not authorised to share in AI prompts.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use or publish generated content. AI output is not professional, legal, financial or other regulated advice.
6. LinkedIn Connection, Consent and Publishing
If you choose to connect LinkedIn, Elvantoq uses LinkedIn's authorisation process and approved APIs. Before authorising the connection, review the LinkedIn consent screen, which identifies the categories of information and permissions requested. The information we can access and actions we can perform depend on LinkedIn's approval, the permissions displayed and the consent you grant.
Where supported and authorised, Elvantoq may retrieve permitted information about your LinkedIn account and submit content to LinkedIn on your behalf. Elvantoq is designed to require your review and affirmative approval before a post is submitted. Connecting your account does not mean every profile field, historical activity, message, analytics metric or organisation-page feature is available.
You can disconnect LinkedIn using controls made available in Elvantoq or revoke the application's access through LinkedIn. Disconnecting stops future access through that connection. It does not necessarily remove information already stored in Elvantoq; see Section 9. We handle LinkedIn data in accordance with LinkedIn's applicable developer terms, permissions and retention requirements.
LinkedIn is an independent service. Its handling of information is governed by its Privacy Policy.
7. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to service providers supporting hosting, infrastructure, databases, storage, email, AI processing and security; third-party platforms you choose to connect; authorities where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; professional advisers and auditors; parties involved in a proposed or completed business transfer; and other parties at your direction or with your consent.
8. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate and support Elvantoq. They may process personal information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
- OpenAI — AI processing: processes prompts, instructions and content submitted when you use Elvantoq's AI-assisted features.
- MilesWeb — hosting and infrastructure: provides hosting and infrastructure, database services, file and media storage, and email services for Elvantoq. These services may involve processing or storing account information, application data, uploaded files, email addresses and service communications as necessary to operate and maintain the platform.
- LinkedIn — connected-platform services: provides authentication and API services that you choose to connect to Elvantoq. LinkedIn processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may also use monitoring, security or diagnostic capabilities included with our hosting and infrastructure services. If we engage additional providers that materially process personal information, we will update this section or provide other notice as required by applicable law.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing and securing Elvantoq, maintaining account and approval records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information, how it is used and applicable legal requirements.
We aim to delete or anonymise information when no longer required, subject to legal obligations, security needs, backup cycles and dispute-resolution requirements. We retain LinkedIn-derived information only to the extent permitted by LinkedIn's applicable terms and only for as long as necessary to provide the Service. When you request deletion of your account or LinkedIn-derived data, or close your account, we will delete LinkedIn API data and related LinkedIn access credentials as required by LinkedIn's terms, subject to applicable legal requirements.
To request deletion of your Elvantoq account or personal information, email contact@elvantoq.com from your registered email address and identify the account. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your request. Some information may be retained where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Backup copies may remain until overwritten or deleted in the ordinary backup cycle, subject to applicable requirements.
10. Security
We seek to use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we process, including access controls and safeguards for data in transit and at rest where supported by our infrastructure. No online service, transmission or storage method is completely secure. Where applicable law requires notice of a personal-information incident, we will provide notice as required.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may stop using Elvantoq, disconnect LinkedIn through available controls or revoke access through LinkedIn. To exercise privacy rights or request deletion, contact contact@elvantoq.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Disconnecting an integration may stop future access but does not necessarily delete information already stored by Elvantoq; use the deletion process in Section 9.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on the location of our service providers and infrastructure. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Children's Privacy
Elvantoq is intended for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so would be unlawful. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact contact@elvantoq.com.
14. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Elvantoq may use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the website and application, maintain secure sessions, remember preferences and protect against unauthorised access. These may include essential session, authentication and security-related cookies.
Where optional analytics or other non-essential technologies are used, we will provide information and obtain consent where required by applicable law. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect functionality, security or availability of certain features.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service, technology, service providers or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. The updated Policy applies from the date stated at the top of the page.
